Pool Room
Take some time to sharpen up accuracy or even challenge your friends and family to a full-blown tournament in our dedicated pool room. Equipped with cues for all ages so everyone can participate.
Books & DVD Library
From intriguing autobiographies to gritty crime thrillers and love stories. Our extensive book collection has something for everyone, whether you prefer nonfiction or fiction. If you’re not much of a reader, cosy up for the night and settle down with a movie from our DVD collection.
Board Games
We can’t always guarantee it’ll be a ‘sunny view’, so if you are stuck indoors due to bad weather, enjoy some quality family time with our selection of classic board games and puzzles.
Gymnasium
Keep active and stay on top of your fitness goals in our on-site gym. With plenty of fresh air flowing through open windows, you can take in the rural scenery whilst putting in some miles on the bike. There is plenty of space between each exercise machine, which includes cardiovascular and aerobic machines such as a treadmill, a recumbent fitness bike, an aerobic fitness bike, a cross-trainer and vibro-plate.
Important: We have high hygiene standards at Sunny View and ensure the gym is cleaned regularly.
Nature Pond, Local Fishing & Stargazing
Enjoy the gentle buzz of wildlife in our nature pond central to the caravan park. A stunning ecosystem that has become somewhat of a hub for local species. Keep an eye out for an array of species of birds taking a quick bath, frogs leaving frog spawn, and a variety of insects and fish exploring their natural habitat.
Unfortunately, fishing is not permitted in our feature pond, but for owners who enjoy angling, we provide free access to a nearby 10-acre coarse fishing lake. There’s also great trout fishing on the River Severn and at Llyn Cywedog, near Llanidloes.
Did you know that mid-Wales is well-known for its low-level ambient lighting? Because of the remoteness of our rural location, there is little light pollution. Making it a popular area for stargazers and astrophotographers. Lean back, relax, and take in the breathtaking views of Mid-Wales’ clear skies.
Children’s Play Area
Let your kids enjoy some downtime in the safety of our on-site children’s play area. Swings, slides, monkey bars, ladders, ropes, and other activities are all available. Keeping them entertained for hours.
Laundrette
To keep you clean and refreshed, we have a fully equipped coin-operated self-service laundry on-site. It is made up of a commercial washing machines and commercial tumble dryer.
